Ok...First I want to make something clear before I begin. I am not pregnant. Some of you may know and some not...that we are trying. Unfortunately things aren't going as smoothly as one would hope. It wasn't easy the first time around either. And outcome, as you know, was devastating. I do want to keep close friends and family in the loop. However, I will NOT be posting a future pregnancy announcement on Facebook, nor will I be discussing any future pregnancies on Facebook. So..please do not ask me anything relating to that matter. Private messages and emails are always welcome. I will make sure to update this blog with progress and pictures etc. So make sure to check frequently. I often use acronyms such as....
TTC - Trying To Conceive
TTCAL - Trying To Conceive After Loss
BFP - Big Fat Positive (HPT)
BFN - Big Fat Negative (HPT)
CD# - Cycle Day
I also use the term Rainbow Baby -
"Rainbow Babies" is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy and hope.
Ok..now that that is said. I will however continue to post poems, pictures and quotes for my son Aidan on Facebook. If you don't like it or it bothers you or saddens you to be reminded or burdened by my life....unsubscribe me. Because you better believe I unsubscribe you when you post your pregnancy announcement the day of your expected period or complain about being pregnant or complain about your living children. :) Thank you for the continued support, and please tell other families members to check here often for updates.
